Michael Dean

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Georgia Tech who has a passion for designing, building, and engineering. Over the years I‘ve started my own engineering club, worked for Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), and become a Prototyping Instructor at my college's maker space, the Invention Studio. Most recently I’ve worked at Starrett Bytewise as a Mechanical Design Engineer. I led numerous projects from prototyping to production, and gained experience working with teams and communicating with suppliers.

I am constantly working on personal projects ranging from traditional woodworking, to 3D printing, and electronics. Through my various jobs and positions, I have gained lots of experience in leadership and working with teams effectively. I believe that my hands on skills and experience set me apart from my peers, and make me particularly effective in my field.
